I'd choose any "full 40 grain non-hollow point ammo" made by CCI for the ignition reliability. I've shot well over 9 K rounds of CCI ammo-(majority being blazers)..- and not 1 dud so far. Would never bet my life on Remington, Winchester, or even Federal for that matter- IMO.

The frangible ammo isn't reliable for deep penetration, as well as anything less than 40 grains.

CCI Velocitors would be a great choice despite their shallow dimple of a hollow point. This is a P+P+ full 40 g. load of the .22lr realm with a controlled expansion.
There's actually only slight expansion in most medium.
