got one for my G23...definitly a novelty item looks pretty cool too! as far as SD scenario...your better off using the bullets

however, it is pretty sharp and has a nasty point on it so a belly shot would do some damage

p.s. ALWAYS take off the sheath before firing! the percussion shattered mine.
