I try to keep all my ammo in 50 cal ammo cans with a dessicant packet or two dropped in. Store the ammo cans in a cool, dry place.

Two biggest enemies of your ammunition: heat and moisture.

I don't track my ammo in any way. I just mark the outside of the can with a marker.
