I'm not condoning it I'm saying It should be a health and human services issue not a criminal one. I personally believe its detrimental and if we could really stop its use with laws I would be all for it. We cannot.
Prostitution is also fraught with Violence. I think bringing it into the light of day, regulating it getting the pimps and organized crime mostly out of it will go a long ways towards curbing this violence. Again health and human services rather then criminal justice.
Its not so much a "we cant beat em so join em" as it is "we cant beat em so lets make it as safe as possible".
I could be wrong too, these are simply suggestions and opinions. I agree it takes more then decriminalizing to reduce the negative social impact. Most of my statements are broad discussion starters and not fully thought out "solutions" Thanks for the feedback
