I occasionally get a piece of closed-cell foam pipe insulation to use as a cheek piece to get the proper eye alignment with the scope. I'll generally put it under one of those
buttstock cartridge carriers from Allen.
You may want something less WECSOG, but the pipe insulation works great for me.
