The 75-acre, 30-station sporting clays course has an unparalleled view of the Las Vegas valley. (Sporting clays are also known as “golf with guns” since most users travel between shooting stations in golf carts that have been modified with gun racks) The course opened to the public Friday, Jan. 18.
I've never heard sporting clays referred to as golf with guns before, but I got a chuckle out of it. I'm also glad to see that the county range is still expanding their facilities. Things like this make it even harder to resist the temptation of getting into shotgunning.
