At my range I can say if its good or not,for not to many people use the range I use.If I am just picking it up then I'll do a good look over before I choose to use it.Pistol isn't that big a deal,rifle is something I want to really look out for.Not knowing the brass for a rifle is a leave it alone for me,but if it has a brass looking primer in it then I'll use it after a work over first.Just take a close look at it then go with your gut.

knowing the shooter tells on the brass to how good it is or not.
