As an previous owner of no less than 8 USFA Single Action revolvers it has been a very sad decline for what was once literally one of the highest quality US gun makers PERIOD..let alone in the Single Action revolver world.
A USFA Pre-War for example was made from all machined bar stock and forged steel(including the SCREWS for crying out loud) which were literally perfectly fit and finished together. Then off it went to Turnbull Restoration for a period correct carbona blue finish and color case hardening. The result was a revolver that literally blew 99% of the firearms made today out of the water in terms of craftsmanship and quality. Only the finest custom shops offered something as nice.
And now...they make nerf guns.
