In general, all shortages are temporary until the market adjusts. That's not to say prices won't increase... it's the intersection of the rising supply and falling demand line that is important.

I reload handgun rounds with a Lee hand press, over 18K rounds since Nov. 2009 with nary a squib nor kaboom.
