Overall the long haul, yes, I think you will find it too big for EDC. I'm not saying that you can't and won't carry it, but I think that sooner or later you will migrate to a smaller gun that really can be a EDC piece.

If you want it, it can be carried easily with a proper gun belt, holster and covering garment. I cannot express just how vital a good gun belt is with a gun this size.

Also know that it will be difficult to carry in summer months and much easier in the winter.
