I love my Buckmark.
But I'm warming up to the 22/45 as a possible project gun.
My buckmark has nice sharp sights, a good trigger, and the basic cheapest black hard rubber grips are very comfortable for me. On top of that, the item is accurate. However, I would like to find whoever decided to hold the barrel to the frame with two screws, and punch him in the throat.
Like all Ruger 22s, the 22/45 becomes a project gun whether you bought it as one or not. I've a volquatzen upper and sear on mine. I like it and use it, but the Buckmark may still be a nicer gun so long as the screws are tight.
