Shouldn't be any issues with a quality 30-round magazine. If you buy a bunch of worn out GI junk then maybe, but not new magazines. Magpul just came out with their Gen 3 Pmags. The improvements to the M3 mags can be found on their site http://www.magpul.com/introducing-the-pmag-30-m3.html
Check out Bravo Companies website for a wide selection of AR magazines. If you want something a little less expensive they sell a teflon finish, GI style magazine with a Magpul follower. The Pmags or the Teflon mags with the Magpul followers will be good-to-go.
