As a matter of fact, Sears delayed a purchase of mine because the gift I ordered was being sent to another state. Sears called me, asked some questions and approved the order. I had zero issue with it.
After you contacted your bank and confirmed all information was correct did you contact Springfield again? Generally speaking, they are in the buisness to sell items and I've found they will go out of their way to help you spend your money whenever possible. Additionally, if there is a problem with your card, they might be able to provide more detailed information. If you were attempting to order online, call them. A call will usually clear up most problems.
