Ok the clip vs. magazine thing is just ridiculous.
If someone says clip along with a type of weapon that takes a magazine I AM SMART enough to know what they are talking about.
To the question at hand, if a magazine doesn't function properly and you have some basic mechanical ability, many can be tweaked and otherwise coerced into functioning.
