I had a similar problem with my 1100 about 25 years ago. Took some good advice and after cleaning gun, specifically the tube, I applied a coat of RemOil (with teflon) and wiped it clean. I havent had a problem with sticking since, in all types of weather. Prior to this I also tried replacing gaskets, etc. The RemOil has worked for me.
