As a FedEx employee I am not allowed to have a weapon on the premises which bothers me a lot because the station lies dead center in the "hood" and stands not even a mile from the second most dangerous neighborhood in Charlotte. Fortunately for me there is a Home Depot parking lot that nudges up to our lot so I chose to park there along with several other co-workers on the whim that I might deal with an issue heading back to my side of town one night after work.
As I have learned each state has their own list of places you should "better" conceal your gun. Contacting the local sheriffs office should help you to acquire that list. I travel a lot so I have gotten into the habit of googling local sheriffs station to find out their rules for traveling with a firearm because that does change as well and they have always been more than happy to answer my questions.
