bet that an awful lot of folks over the years said the same thing about short magnum rifle rounds, hollowpoints, magnum revolver rounds, smokeless powder, larger bullets, percussion caps, rifled bores, conical ball, longer barrels, steel barrels, iron barrels, longbows and atlatl
I'm still badly tempted to do my M95 rechamber in 50 Alaskan; so... ...yeah.
