In some break-open guns shotguns/rifles having a extractor is to he shooters advantage.
Having empty rifle cases thrown into the next county is no my idea of a good time. I have a Savage 219 single shot 30-30 and if I'm not careful it will throw that case 15-20 feet. Thats a case that is matched to the other 49 for that rifle.
In a shotgun in the field hunting I don't care where the case go's as long as the chamber is free for the next shell.
