An option I'm considering for my AK

MI Universal Handguard

The handguard allows cowitness lower 1/3 with the optic, so in the event of failure the ironsights can still be used. The Trijicon RMR can also be used but that's a $500 optic and I won't have $500 to spend on an optic anytime soon....
