STI has some excellent guns. A good start would be the Spartan 1911 or the Trojan 1911 in 9MM. Of course if you can spend a bit more, there's more to choose from in both their other 1911 and 2011 models.

I have the Spartan 5 in 9MM and it is a reliable and accurate gun. Lots of fun to shoot too!
