I think quite a few shooters are having success with the A-Max out of stock Savage and Remington barrels with the 1:9.25 twist. I shoot a 1:7 out of my .243 so I can run 115's, that are out there. My A-Max bullets are packed up but I'm pretty sure they don't require a special twist just like Nosler's 105 custom competition bullets. Faster than 1:10 is preferable but I don't think they need a 1:8 to stabilize.
