The 229 and 228 are very similar, the only difference is the 228 slide is a bit slimmer...in alot of cases, a 229 holster should work for a 228. (The 226 is a bit longer in the slide...a 226 is to the 228 as a Glock 17 is to a Glock 19. Sort of. The size difference with the sigs isn't as dramatic, but it is there)

The aker actually looks perfect for what I need.
