It is likely more true for most of the people who buy double actions and then shoot them mostly single-action. Then there are those of us who remove the hammer spur and shoot them as they are intended. Having just finished with Jordan's book, "No Second Place Winner", I noticed that there were several pictures of his gun without a spur on the hammer. He was the one who shot aspirins.
