I have definitely gotten AR fever - I want one!
I had a look at one the other day that seemed pretty reasonably priced, but when I looked down the barrel, it didn't look as shiny as I was thinking it should.
Toward the muzzle at least, there seemed to be some speckling? I really couldn't tell what it was.
I shot it, seemed accurate enough, to nail a 20oz bottle at 100 feet or so, that is.
So, how would one recognize barrel pitting? Can it be fixed?
