If the gun club members or officers who decide whether to accept such a donation cannot make a good decision, based on your description, then IMO they are not well-suited to their positions.
I don't remember when plastic cases came into use for ammo, but it wasn't in the early 1970s, as best I recall.
All that said, lawyers have taken most of the fun out of life in this country and everyone is so shy of lawsuits that the club might decline your offer, at least with regard to the kids' program. No reason for you to be offended - just another reason to despise trial lawyers.
If you still get a printed copy of the Yellow Pages, look and see what percentage of the whole book is taken up by advertisements for Attorneys.
