I use it mainly as a cleaner for the barrel and slide. I also use it to lube the barrel and locking lug/slide. I still prefer a grease for slide rails on a metal framed weapon. And on really gunked up weapons I like to douse them with gunsrubber first then coat them with CLP.

I've never had any issues. I prefer the liquid as it lasts longer and smells infinitely better. What's your definition of "sufficient"?
