Imp. Cyl. means it has an improved-cylinder fixed choke. Fixed means the barrle does not accept screw in choke tubes, which allow one to change the tightness of the choke.

An IC or improved cylinder gives you a broader pattern than a modified choke, but a tighter pattern than a skeet choke.

I only shoot a little skeet and do not hunt, but it should work pretty well from what I understand.

Make sure it is clean and has a good gas ring. Especially ensure that the gas port isn't partially blocked.
