I don't like shooting my 10 inch contender in 44 mag at all. With anything hotter than a 44 Special and it blows the front handguard off.

It has the screw in choke also but I took it off to shoot hand gun loads.

I watched a man shoot a 45-70 in a Contender. He asked if I wanted to shoot it. NO THANKS.

BTW: I am not a little guy.
