+1 on Ed's Red.
Handguns, rifle bolts/actions.
Soak, brush, rinse, dry.
Handgun barrels get run thru with 0000 steel wool wrapped around a brush (shoot mostly lead) after.
Rifle barrels get a combo RB 17 (alos biodegradable) and JB cleaner.
Sometimes I plug the barrel(s) and soak it with Ed's Red....not too practical with
gas guns though.
I find Ed's Red takes time to "dry"/get the excess off.
Does the Lucas Oil Stabilizer make it more so?
