I wasn't arguing over whether self-preservation was a right, or even whether it's a good idea. I think self-preservation is a great idea. I was just pointing out (on the stand your ground issue) that those are separate, sort of "analytically." Someone may have a right
to stand his ground, but that does not necessarily make it a good idea. My apologies if that wasn't clear.
