I should quote statute but I won't for now. SD is strictly defined in TX and, please correct me if I wrong, it doesn't cover shooting coyotes in city limits unless you can make the case that you were in fear for your
own or another
human life...
IMHO the fact this never got to a grand jury was...unusual.
