I'm considering building a scout-style lever action, and after quite a bit of research, I think I'm sold on this

But I do have one question I haven't been able to get a reliable answer on : with a low magnification scope like this, is it possible to shoot with both eyes open? Is it practical to do so, or are you fighting the tide by doing so?
