The question about what you're going to shoot with it is important. If the list of shootables included deer, then go with the 260 - but only if you reload. My 260 was bought from a buddy only because it was such a good deal I couldn't say no. I didn't even use it for a couple of years. But...now I use it plenty. It's too much for Coyotes (not that too much is bad), but great for medium to big pigs and it's great on deer. And how much do I like it...I thought you'd never ask. Tomorrow is opening day of deer season and I'm taking the 260 instead of my Sako 270. That'll be the first opening day without the 270 in maybe 25 years. Trust me...that's big. So get the 260.
