I do not find the serial numbers for L frame 686's in the Standard Catalogue of S&W.

The generally expressed opinion I've found is that they are not on-line either.

I'm looking at two 686's.
One serial # begins with CPH, the other with CRA.

Is there any way I can find out the manufacturing time frames these indicate ?
