I guess I don't think $60 is a lot for a combat knife...that sounds like a spyderco or cold steel price range.
Is the knife the only weapon you will have? Or will you have a gun or two?
If the knife was the only weapon I would spend a bit more and carry at least two knifes. The primary would be 4" or 5" Cold Steel Voyager with something a little smaller for "backup" Or a pair of Delica's or Endura's
