Having heard these comments I'm given to wonder as to the former, what "gunshow loophole" is the man talking about?
Like most soundbite terms there is no such thing as the "Gun Show Loophole" what the Bradys are talking about is the lack of a required background check for private sales between those who are not firearms dealers. The reason they use Gunshow in the term is because they believe that a gunshow is where most of these sales take place. What I have not seen is how many crime guns are obtained through private sales without a backgound check at a gunshow.
