What is the difference between shooting to kill and shooting until the threat is eliminated?
Dead is dead, obviously.
But you can shoot someone, wound them, and have them subsequently flee or surrender.
At either point, the threat is eliminated.
If every single gun owner belonged to the NRA as well as their respective state rifle/gun association, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.
So to those of you who are members of neither, thanks for nothing.
