I'm 6'0" & 290 lbs...the only comfortable way for me to carry is with a nylon shoulder holster. I'm in PA so I wear jackets and sweatshirts a little more often than you probably would, but it is hard to carry in the summer. I also have an "in the pants" holster that I usually carry in the front, but it can be extremely uncomfortable! BTW, I carry a Ruger P89 9mm Stainless.
