i had one on my Remington 1100. i believe it was made by hastings.the problem (and the reason i dont have the barrel any more) is that if you mount a scope it has to be on the receiver so you have limited that gun to being a muzzleloader. the purpose of the barrel was multi use out of one gun but it doesn’t work out.
i would just look for a decent muzzleloader and keep your 870 for other purposes.
