Being the "little girl" in your situation, I will vouch for your love for your daughter. Screw that lady.....she's just mad she can't shoot a cow from 3 feet with a fully choked sg in broad daylight.
There will come a day, when those "times" will show themselves again.
I promise you that.
And, it's not that teaching your kids, or daighters for that matter, gives them the tomboy attitude.
Yeah, I wore frilly dresses, did the pageant thing, but I could (and still) outshoot my brother on the range any day. Honestly, I think it kind of gives me an "edge", looking feminine, but having the knowledge to protect myself without anyone else's help.
