Hmmm...I would have thought .001 of an inch would only affect accuracy.. and I have no doubt that it has happilly fired all manner of factory loads, which do vary between .223 and .224. Norma is .224, Winchester is .223. .......

As it is here IN NZ, I doubt it would be US manufacture........
