Beretta Hammer Spring

In the semi auto froum, someone mentioned replacing the factory hammer spring with a mdel D spring. Two things I am wondering about are:

1) Will this cause any adverse effects to a 92f (reliability,wear)?

2) Where can I get hold this spring?
