I am looking for a good quality sling to attach to my new M70. It needs to be black since I have a synthetic stocked weapon. I would like leather - I will use it to shoot from all 3 basic positions and since the Corps has taught me to shoot - proper use will be made of the sling. I am not HUGE on nylon or webbing since they stretch. If you know of a good nylon that isn't stretchy let me know.

So what do I want and where do I get it????

What you need is a Turner Saddlery Tactical Rifle Sling. Dillon sells them. You can see one at http://dillonprecision.com/template/p.cfm?maj=45&min=1&dyn=1&

Nuther vote for a Turner. Legal for service rifle matches. They use the finest leather available and very proper fitments. They WORK.

The Turner is a great sling. May want to look at the Latigo from http://www.brownells.com too.

Super Sling 2" in Black 1.25", I believe, wide. Exceellent Product and I have never known the ones I have to stretch. I really like the fast take up and let off. It makes it nice to be able to quickly take it up when you climb up on top of a ladder stand and get into position.
