I missed out on acquiring one of these when they were first introduced. Many futile attempts at finding one on the used market ensued much to my dismay. It took Ruger in their infinite wisdom to re-release this jewel for me to FINALLY get one. :D I've owned a few Super Redhawks in the past, but this Super BlackHawk "Hunter" is THE keeper.

Bandit, interested in putting that in a "Let's see your wheelgun" thread? I'm gonna start one this evening when I get home and crank up the camera.

Nice...What make/model is that scope?

I have a Taurus Ranging Bull in 44 mag. with their factory scope mount but no scope yet...lookin to but.

It's a Bushnell Trophy 2X32 EER Pistol Scope I ordered from Midway USA shortly after securing the winning bid on the Ruger from gunbroker.com :D
