Used BENELLI M1 121 used shotgun made prior to 1985: It is worth $600?

Hi all,

I would like to know the current market value for a used - 95% condition - Benelli M1 121 with original wood furniture? I was told by Benelli USA that the 121's were discontinued back in 1985. The person selling this shotgun is asking approximately $600. Does this sound fair, or should I forgo the deal? Please note that doesn't include FFL transfer fee.

I recently saw one at the Birmingham, AL gun show for $900. I rated it at 95%+/-.

I saw one on Auctionarms.com - the guy was trying to sell it all month and put it up for the third time because it didn't sell for $600 or $500 - he then dropped it to $450 and only 1 person bid on it. Looked really nice:
