It seems that the folks at Hornady have come out with a new low recoil, tight patterning shot load.

Randy Cain has posted: http://gunspot.atinfopop.com/4/OpenTopic?a=tpc&s=187291455&f=683295555&m=2124069031 on the Gunspot Forums.

I received Hornady's ad on it today.

Seems like its worth a look.

This is doubtless a "good thing," as I consider more choices in the marketplace to generally be of benefit.

However, before I even read Randy Cain's post, I surmised the load will be expen$ive, as are the other products in the TAP line. While I am fond of the TAP line (especially the .223 TAP Urban loads), I don't think even the potentially tighter patterns offered by a TAP shotshell will justify the cost over, say, the Estate reduced recoil load. But hey, I've been wrong before. I'll still check out the Hornady load.

Also, as for being "restricted," this is really a non-issue, as the TAP line is available from several commercial outlets, including Natchez Shooters Supply.
