H & R Model 1904 Questions

While going through a few boxes at my grandfather's I found a H & R Double Action Model 1904 38 Cal five shot revolver.
On the barrel was stamped "H & R Arms Company Worchester, Mass. U.S.A. 38 S. & W. CTCE" As far as I can tell my grandfather bought this sometime in the 1920s. I also found a box of shells that are atleast 40 years old.

The gun is in good shape, and I was wondering can anyone tell me anything about this gun.
