What is the going rate for a Transferable C&R Thompson M1 or M1A1 shooter in good condition?

About 6-8K depending on condition.

The highest I have seen a M1A1 was 8.5K, but this was for one in mint condition and an original. Not a West Hurley new in a box as these are the ones in the 5.5-6.5K range.

Looks like I might be looking into get a "West Hurley", as it is NIB, and less $$$$. Just have to see if I can find one, and get my tax stamp. :)

Oh yeah and scrap up enough $$$ also.
