Hello,
I am looking for information on a very interesting pistol I am looking at. This is a 4 barreled pistol made by Remington. On one side is stamped, " Elliot patent May 29th 1860 thru Oct 1st 1861". On the other side is stamped, " Manufactured by Remington and sons Ilion, NY J". The serial number appears to be 89 288. The caliber looks to be 32 and uses a rimmed case. The trigger is a ring. Overall the condition is fair to good, there is some rust. Any information you can give me including the estimated value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, willp58

If these are what you're talking about then it is a Remington-Elliot Ring-Trigger Derringer. They were made in several calibers (all rimfire-.30, .31, .32 and .41) and the number of barrels were dependant upon caliber.
