Was looking at both for Conceal Carry Protection class. Wondering if anyone has taken a course at either one?

Ask again end of next week. I just signed up for Sigarms.
I've previously taken a defensive carbine class at S&W. Wasn't that impressed. Too much square range work. Little work with reactive targets. Not enough movement. Too many "war stories." Not enough rounds downrange.

So M1911, how was the course?

Just got back last night from SigArms Concealed Carry course (not the advanced concealed carry -- only stayed for 3 days, not 5). If I get a chance tonight, I'll post more details. In summary, though, two thumbs up.
I've been to LFI-1, LFI-2, and S&W defensive carbine. LFI-1 is a must from the legal standpoint. But I think the SigArms Concealed Carry class was more useful to me than LFI-2.
SigArms Academy has excellent instructors and an oustanding facility.
